My experience after one year of using the Luxe 2.
The device itself is really classy and luxurious.
Visually there’s nothing to fault it on,
no matter how careful you are, even if you really watch it, the finish still wears off. I used a silicone case from the start, but even with the case the frame around it has paint wear, and the case itself makes the device not look luxurious and beautiful anymore. And if you don’t use a case, in the first month you’ll see a lot of scratches.
The biggest flaw I can say about it is that the Type-C charging port is not fast charge, and it takes a really long time to fully charge (the charger and charging cable I use are brand name and there’s no problem with them). For someone who takes four puffs a day and puts it aside, it’s not a problem, but for me who’ve basically got vaping on my shoulder, it’s really annoying. That’s why I had to get two extra pairs of batteries and a battery charger, and every time I want to swap batteries the device’s time and date get messed up.
You can’t really trust the smart feature either. For example, I put on my MTL atomizer, it should set below 20 watts, but it goes to 40 watts.
Sometimes it also glitches and you have to take the battery out and put it back in for it to be okay.
Don’t pay attention to the 220V thing on the device; in normal use you’re using under 80 watts anyway, whatever atomizer you use.
Unless you want to take a show-off puff, which even that over 100 to 120 is basically suicide.
The screen also isn’t fully touch, only the three dots at the bottom of the screen are touch.
